Yep...think what Ralphie could have done with that instead of a Red Ryder.

Back in the 70's my buddy bought a full-auto BB gun from a magazine ad.
These were made of resin plastic and didn't look like a real gun.

It was powered by cans of Freon.
It could only fire in short bursts before you had to give the Freon time to boil and regain pressure.
It worked better if the Freon can was put in a pot of hot water.

He modified it to allow using a tank of compressed air, and he could fire unlimited streams of BB's as long as the tank lasted.
We shot the thing at his home in the country and as an experiment he put a Coke bottle across the country road and shot at that.
The BB"s seemed to just sort of float out across the road and looked like they weren't moving very fast. But the Coke bottle was cut in half as soon as it was hit so it was giving higher velocities then it seemed.

It was a blast to shoot, and he hunted dragon flies at a small pond and could easily shoot them out of the air with a stream of BB's.
The gun wasn't good quality and the valves didn't last long before it stopped working, but it was a real hoot while it lasted.

It requires 2 co2’s installed in the magazine. The magazine holds about 30 bb’s. The co2’s will last about 10 mags. The rifle is metal and feels like an ar15. Same weight. I think the rails and sights can be fitted on a real ar15, but I might be wrong.

it was fun shooting but it doesn’t hold enough ammo. It’s gone in a second then you have to refill with a speed loader.

It was $150 at Academy Sports. Made by DPMS.
