EC48F920-0218-4647-80ED-C6A95AA6C4BF.jpeg1959 magazine ad. I loved Bob Hope’s movies. Surprised to see him promoting Colt, though...

Chicago Field newspaper dated March 31, 1877. I have a Colt Model 1877 that was shipped to Kittredge on March 15, 1877 so this ad was most likely advertising that revolver. $18.00 + $2.50 for ivories +.75 for nickel finish. Such a deal!

"OMNIPOTENT" Colt Model 1878 sitting on an original 2 sided Colt factory broadside ad. Dated 1880. The reverse side advertises the Model 1877 and if you look closely you can see the images of the 1877's. Since the revolver was also shipped in 1880 it makes for a nice display.
