\"They\" can now lock you out of/disable your car?

I saw a commercial on TV last night for Chevrolets Suburban that depicted some careless fool who locked himself out of his new 2002 'burb out in the middle of nowhere..... no problem, he just gets on his cell phone and calls some GM contracted monitoring company in Fedville and they punch a code into their 'puter and send a signal to the vehicle and it unlocks itself..... Think a little and you can see where this can go. "They" are now able to lock/unlock anybodys new vehicle at will. Next "they" will be able to disable anybodys new vehicle at will with the same technology. Next, with the current developing "smart gun technology", in a decade or less "they" will be able to disable your means of defense by sending a satellite signal to your new model 2008 Colt Series 2K 1911 B2 and your new 2008 Turbo Bushmaster XM-15 and your grandads Garand that was required by federal law to be retrofitted back in '04 when Hillary was elected to The Office.....
I don't like the implications of this at all.

You forgot to mention that the same system has GPS tracking in it. That means when they want to find you, they will. Also GMs computers store info on what you were doing should you crash. So if you say you were on the brakes, the computer will verify or deny your claim.

Don't forget that you can lojack your pets now. It isn't far from being used in people. So aside from being able to disable your firearms you will have a chip implanted so they can track you anywhere.

If you want to see the nanny future in store for us see the movire "Demolition Man". Some of the stuff in that movie is not far off.

Wonderful... now I'm going to have nightmares!

Actually, no news flash... we're going to hell in a handbasket! I could throw more brush on the fire, but it's burnin' pretty good already,
