All of my old colts have historical value because they all have notches on the handle. We all know what that means, and certainly nobody put them there many years after the fact

do not shoot it, either keep it as a collectible gun or sell it as such and find yourself a shooter. This early 2nd generation with this box in pristine condition should be preserved.
