Again, I'm not an expert but the grips do not appear to be real ivory. I also see what looks to be file marks on them and curves not smoothed as I think quality grip carving should be like. While the...

Keep looking 7’s...Cheap Shooter?? It’s probably safe to assume the internals are as trashed as the finish, so get ready to pony up some additional Benjamin’s for an action rebuild after dropping...

Specifically about the Coffeyville, KS. raid. This 1996 book depicts the gang as the worthless pieces of crap they were and focuses more on the heroism of the town people who wiped them out, four of...

Always buy the best gun you can afford. Does this gun meet that standard? Throwing good money after bad accomplishes nothing. This gun will always be lipstick on a pig. I am sure you could buy a...

The caliber marking style says the barrel could be a late 1st gen or a 2nd gen. Looking at the cylinder I would say a 1st Generation or possibly a very early 2nd.

I am no expert but it does appear to have a lot of rust that has been covered over. The engraving looks nice to me but I would think the barrel and grips are not correct nor is the finish so that...

Thats not the original barrel. 1st gens only have caliber markings. The letter states 1906 and the serial # is correct but it also states 38 colt not 38 special. Most likely a 3rd gen barrel.

Don't buy anything you'll have to explain - you'll likely lose money when you sell it - and you will sell it.
