    Introduction/New To Colt Forum

    Hello Ya'll,

RonsHuntiingSupply is in Central Virginia in the town of Forest, just up the road from Lynchburg, Va.. We operate at hunting supply store (obviously) that primarily serves houndsmen, bird dogs and retrievers, predator hunters, deer, bear, rabbit, squirrel, coon and other types of hunting/shooting sports. We are in the process of applying for our FFL through the ATF (6 weeks of waiting for approval so far).
Personally I own a Colt 1911 Mark IV 80 series 45ACP Stainless Steel. It was manufactured in March of 1987. I shoot it once a week and it is "dead on". I am looking forward to meeting new friends on this site, and learning more about my Colt and other models of the Colt history.

    Thanks again

    Ron Siver

Ron, Welcome to the Colt Forum! If I am ever in your area, I will stop in. As I recall, Forest, VA is the location of Thomas Jefferson's summer home.

“It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carry the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life, or death ---- it shall be life.” - Ten Bears - “The Outlaw Josey Wales”
