So I usually buy my grips from Buffalobrothers for my Single Actions. However after hearing about Daves Guitar parts offering Resin Ivory grip panels I had to try them myself. I'm still learning but these are the 2 pair so far. I absolutely love how they look.
These are not the S type resin grip blanks. I decided to try out the standard ones first just in case I really messed them up learning. I still see those lines that often get mentioned in the S type grip panels, but I also may not see how much better the +S panels really look yet. Anyway, if I can fumble around and make these just think about how great looking most of you guys could do.
My question....How the heck do they make those lines into the material? They sure do look ivory like, don't they? If they mix a batch of resin up why isn't it a uniform consistency? I know, perhaps somethings should remain a secret.
