Straight from the Texas panhandle in the mail yesterday came this Texas "Alamo" holster from RayB. He knew I had a 4" Python and I'm left handed. This is a beautifully tooled holster with a very tricky stitched full lining. My Electroless nickel Python fits perfect in it. My mail comes around 3PM but I always pass my mailman a few blocks away on my 9AM walk. He said, "Hey, I have a package for you", and dug it out. Thanks, Ray.
Very nice gift. I’m a lefty too and have a few LH holsters, funny thing is I always carry and shoot right handed, although I shoot both handguns and rifles left or right equally well.
This was preceded by a similar surprise package from California delivered to Texas.
Wyatt very generously sent one of his projects that matched a revolver I had posted on another forum.
Thank you Wyatt.
The holster Ray gave me was made by the company "Alamo" of San Antonio, Texas.
It was great how this gift exchange thing accidentally happened. I had the holster laying around and since Ray's been my most prolific customer, I gave it to him. Then he sent me this one and now out of the blue we both have holsters for guns that needed one.
Funny thing...I got one just like it coming in the mail {bought it on Gunbroker} It to is a Alamo,..Looks exactly like yours!!...Only mine is for a 2.5 inch Python,..Also left hand................................................M*
Just got back from California and this is the first thing I read ! Let alone free.... what a sweet holster . I always love the off white trim . What a nice gesture , really nice . You a lucky southpaw, Burp - I saw you at Alcatraz
