    Great War veterans

All three of these are genuine WW1 guns. A S&W 1917 built in November of 1917, a P08 Luger by DWM, 1915 with Imperial markings and a Colt 1911 built in September of 1917.

My Great Uncle Alfred. He served in the Pacific fighting the Japanese. Was riddled with shrapnel, laid half dead around his dead comrades for 2 days before he was found. Had to eat baby food for the rest of his life because one of the pieces of shrapnel took out just about all his stomach. Had a hole through his leg too, limped the rest of his life. He never talked about it but one time to me. There were so many Hero's like him, God Bless them.

NiceTrio. Could you take some better, brighter photos of the 1917 and post them?

Here ya go! It still has it's factory blue, the Pachmayr adapter sure helps when shooting it.
