    No.
I was fortunate enough to be able to visit Canada's largest privately owned collection of firearms. You name it, the owner had several of each. When that pic was taken the owner had 17 Thompsons. The owner calls it the "Armory" and for good reason!

Nice horse. Warmblood? You look like you're in a jump saddle. I assume those are fences for crowd control and not jumps.
He looks happy as can be.

There is a Colt Official Police riding in that cross draw holster circa 1985 and a pic in the Armory circa 2013 with a Glock 22 riding in the holster.

The horse is a racetrack reject Standardbred trotter. It was sold/given to my Police Dept for $1.00 I became quite attached to that horse (his name was Barney). In the pic I'm competing in a equestrian event/obstacle course with small jumps to demonstrate the abilities of Police Horses.
All the tack on the horse is British Military which my Police Dept has used since the 1800's. As far as I'm aware they still use the same equipment. The uniform I'm wearing is general patrol (of the time) with Sam Browne belt. The only equipment we were allowed to carry on our belts was holster and handcuff pouch. Spare ammo (6 rounds) was carried in a black leather pouch in our pocket and a leather sap carried in a special short pocket on the right hip. How times have changed....

My wife, loves to camp, fish and hit the range with me. But, she always out shoots me with her AR rifle...she's got younger eyes (5 years difference) but not the trapdoor!
