    A blade by Ben Hayhurst

A friend of mine had a knife + sheath made for me prior to my deployment next month. He asked what I liked, I said tanto points, and it went from there.

Turns out his knifemaker neighbor is Ben Hayhurst, a real pro who works mostly in very fancy damascus steel blades.

Here's what he created for me. Absolutely fantastic quality. Before anyone asks, yes I shoot rifle left-handed.

Nice looking blade. I hope it snaps well into the Kydex and the snap is just an extra level of precaution in keeping it in the scabbard. Otherwise, I would carry it crossdraw style on the belt. Stay safe.

It is pretty secure. I am going to lanyard + clip it as well. But I may grow tired of it there and move it somewhere else on my gear. I just don't want that glassbreaker pointed up where it'll hit my forearm all the time.

Gas mask on one side and a pistol holster on the other. Real estate all snapped up.
