G'day Carl. First post? Welcome to the Forum.
My guess is they are what are commonly known as "Brevette Colts". Mostly Belgian manufactured copies of the 1851 Navy Colt, indifferent quality, many used by the Confederate States in the Civil War. The experts should be online in a few hours to give a more educated opinion. Ross.

I agree with Trantor. Belgium was the China of its day. The country had no laws that prevented patent infringement during that time period. They made knock-off guns as a cottage industry. They do have value, but of course not as much as a true Colt or or a Colt made under license in Europe (For example, Colt's were made under license in France during this time period and are marked "Systeme Colt's Patent - Paris").

Thank you. Yes, its my first post and become a member today. Value is not the important one, would just be very happy to get som info on what models they are, and
if they are belgian copies all or anyone made in the USA. Would be so much easier to find the parts i need. Looking forward to see what the experts say. Many Thanks Carl.

    Revolver number 1 has the
black powder proof for rifle, the one
from Liege 1811-1892, also an "N" stamped
on several places, ans also a proofmark that
looks like the proofmark from the London
    proof house, used from 1637.
Any of you kind experts redy to help?

Vildsvin, these copies are held in low esteem by most Colt collectors which may explain why the experts are not interested in responding.
I am far from expert however consider BornFree and I have already provided most of the relevant answers. These pictured guns are of Belgian manufacture during the 1850's and 1860's and are based on the Colt 1851 Navy. The Colt was 36 calibre - these may vary. The backyard makers rarely identified themselves by name due to possible litigation for patent infringement or injury arising from firing these mostly dubious quality items. If London proofed that would signify sale in or transit through England - not manufacture. The "American" name would be to encourage overseas sales. Above is opinion only.
If you are a collector I would suggest sell them and buy one genuine Navy - if a restoration project as you said, go for it - not the end of the world if you alter or refinish them.
