Your wise opinion please on this snubby

Colt Python 2 1/2 inch 1966 Complete LNIB Blue : Revolvers at GunBroker.com

Pics aren't the greatest and I'd probably ask for more if I got serious but it looks good to my novice eyes... Pricey though and question the "only factory fired" condition. Anyone have any experience with the seller? Really hard to find snubs from this era!

I would ask for a pic of the front of the cylinder release...it's supposed to be in the white. The one on this Python is difficult to tell if it's correct or blued. If it's blue it's been refinished. For the kind of money being asked decent pics are mandatory to decide whether it's as advertised.

I am also interested in this gun. In my opinion a 1966 or earlier package is very rare. The front of the gun showing a shinny barrel, under lug and sight ramp is period correct. Also the box looks good to me. I also would like pictures of the front of the cylinder release and also the ejection star which both should be white.

I have a 1964 just like this but 6000 serial numbers earlier. The only distractions I see are slight pitting on the cylinder and there should be a Colt screw driver in the manila envelope. It would not surprise me to see this go for 5k.

Looks to be in the white but you should still ask. As a seller I would be more than happy to show as many pictures as possible to any buyer

Without question we need better photos to evaluate, however looking at the blued finish it seems more "Liquid Black" used in the 90's then the "Royal Blue" used in that era. JMHO.
