    My First Python!

So it was 1/8/2018 when I made my first post on wanting a Colt Python not having a clue on what to look or watch out for. All I know is I wanted one and thought they looked very cool and how every line and shape on the revolver was very aesthetically pleasing. With that being said I got a lot of similar responses on being very careful and patient on buying one. The fake boxes, re-bluing, etc. They arenít rare and hard to come by. So I started doing lots of research and found some I thought I wanted and just had to have. But there always was a hang up either being not what I thought the gun was or didnít feel good gut feeling about the person selling, or my favorite one being ďfuzzy picturesĒ. Youíd thought that they had Michael J Fox take the photos. It was just unbelievable to me in this day in age with the quality of the cameras you would find these kinds of pictures. BTW I enjoy Michael J Fox and love Back to the Future. There were a few forum members who reached out to me to offer to sell a Python to me. All were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! I appreciated it. So I contacted Tom with Kirkpatrick Collections (Lumberjack2 on GB). I seen a few Pythons that I thought would fit the bill for me and he was gracious enough to share his knowledge and expertise. I was eyeing and wanted an earlier Python and he had a 1978 99%+ blued 6Ē gun that was his. Clean on the cylinder face and perfect around the firing pin. I pulled the trigger on it. I donít have it yet but check is in the mail! Iím very excited. Iím going to brag on him for a second. I called Tom twice and spent 20 min or so the first call and 30 min the second one. The guy is a class act. IMHO the best on GB. That is customer service at its finest. And he never forced anything or had me believing I had to buy this particular gun. He was very neutral and informative. He takes more high quality pictures of his guns he lists vs. 6 or 7 different listings totaling their number of pictures put together. Thatís how it should be done. He was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Iíve always heard good things about him and that Lumberjack2 was one of the two most reputable sellers on GB. Iíll cut it short here cause Iím excited and I know Iíll just start running on this email. Iíve included a picture of the gun. Thanks to everyone on here who helped guide me and inform me. Your awesome.
