Just one more indicator that Colt bringing the Python back is the most exciting thing to happen in the gun world in years. I wasn't around for the introduction of the Python in 1955, but this has to be a way bigger event. I'm glad to see it.

Must admit it I would have never guessed it. I knew it would be big but WOW this is something else. Big interest for sure.

I have wanted a Colt Python for half my life (20 years). When I was younger, I couldn’t afford them. Now, I could buy the older model, but I’d want a really pristine gun. That puts me in a price point that would make me feel guilty for shooting it.

The new Python is exactly what I’m looking for (as long as the trigger is up to snuff) for at a price point that makes it a real shooter, no guilt.

To pay more than MSRP for a gun that is current production is ludicrous. “A fool and his money will soon part ways.”

Saw one this morning at my LGS. Retail at $1500.00. The one on Gun Broker is now $3000.00. Oh by the way, its mine.

This is the kick in the pants Colt has needed for a long time. Kudos to them. There are so many gunmakers and so much competition in the market Colt needed this to get the gun press and gun buyers taking about them again.
