What I’ve been told when this came up .. by person(s) that are connected to Colt

OK cite your sources if you're reporting factual information.

Well I expected such a response. But the question is still on the table. Cite your source please.

I doubt the recall so close to the initial release. Hoping it's not a kicking of the bee's nest.

Dealers would not have had any to sell. Social media now has new python guns posted all over where owners were able to buy them locally.
It is certainly possible that a distributor had to return pythons some time ago, but itís not the reason that there arenít any.. there arenít any because the ones available that were listed at msrp have sold and the ones still available are in internet auctions destined for the deepest pockets....l. But there will be more and soon.
It was no big deal really. So small in fact I will not be returning mine to have this mod done. People get their panties in a wad and cite "quality" and it had NOTHING to do with anything Colt did. It will come out eventually but it is doodly squat. Going to be a few people who will be looking to hide behind the couch because of what they have posted when it comes out but not from me.

Never doubt anything when it comes to Colt. I have a wait and see attitude due to past history.

I just sent to Smith & Wesson at their expense a S & W 19-3. The pistol came back in about 2 weeks with a letter saying the gun was "too old and they have no parts" to work on the pistol. They returned the 19-3 at their expense.Thought that was interesting since the form I filled out was clear on the model.

... meanwhile back at the ranch..
Russ, there is some pretty good links to so a list of about 20 dealers online who sold all of there python guns and have email notifications where you can get a notification as they come available. I know you’d probably prefer to get it in hand for a purchase though, as most would, but it appears there selling like hot cakes.. with free syrup.
