Will be the cover next month.... You know my favorite grip maker was having health issues. He is here in Texas and used to do the Ivory Grips when Colt stopped doing Ivory.

I THINK IVORY WILL LOOK GOOD ON THE 4.25 SITTING IN THE BLACK SHARK MSP KRAMER. Plus love the feel of Ivory. May call Paul next week!

Haven't seen that article. A tad late for the January issue, but hope it makes February - I'm sure there will be something. With all this discussion I know I'm going to get sucked into buying a 4.25".

I had bought both of my new revolvers from gun stores, as they were popular guns that had been around for a while and the stores had them in stock. Then I decided I wanted a gun that the gun stores didn't have, so I went to GB. That's when they stuck that 'NR' tag on me.

But, joking aside, new bidders can at least start the 'verified member' process so that they get the green checkmark badge. That took about two weeks and a couple of GB emails to get in place, but I didn't think it was fair to sellers/consigners to scare off other bidders before I could build up my feedback. I would like to see GB introduce a tag that gives some sort of 'in progress' badge immediately to anyone who applies for the 'verified member' badge. As a competing bidder, that would make me feel better about these 'NR' bidders.

We run into the same thing in these forums - someone with 100 posts and only a year of membership is much less likely to get a reply to their posts, regardless of how long they have been shooting
Runscott, great points! I too, have had that problem and its mostly the reason I haven't sold anything on GB. Good news is that the Colt Forum finds that I'm on a "distinguished road"!!!

Back to the new Colt Python.

I'm really excited about it. I will buy one as soon as they are readily available at MSRP.

Now if Colt would do the smart thing and make it in 22lr, I would be a real happy camper. I would rather see that instead of a new Diamondback.

I dont think that would be too realistic for colt to do. The python is too heavy for that, would not be a comfortable shooter. Thats why the diamondback was better, lighter and smaller to match the caliber better.

What they really need to do is offer a 5” version!

I’m liking almost everything I am seeing about this reintroduced Python. I am pretty sure I will end up with one once the frenzy and prices settle down.

Is there some way we can all sign a digital THANK YOU CARD and send it to Colt?

    Not a 6" and a 5". Too close. A 5" and a 3" would be awesome. I'd take the 4.25" over the 6" anyday though.
