1979 6” Blued Python along side the new Python.. exactly 40 years it’s Junior. How about that youngster with the ol man.

I haven’t shot this , But I gotta back up the hype over the way the new trigger and action feels.
It’s smooth .. it’s magic. The youngster’s action feels like butter, it’s light and crisp. DA is superb also. If timing truly stays solid with real use, it’s got a leg up on the ol man, fellas.

All 6 of my chambers were test fired.

Love this and like the junior idea. I have a 1970 Python and come hell or high water I will get one this year to have another one 50 years later after the original. To bad I could get SN: 2020 or better yet almost the same SN as my 1970 Python at least numbering wise

congrats on the purchase and now IF I only had a few extra bucks!!!!

Just picked mine up. Serial # PY0022xx. Perfect in every way EXCEPT, dings and dents at the end of barrel below counterbore which is meant to protect it. Hard to imagine how this could even happen. God, I hate having to send this to Colt.

Sorry to hear that, Hungry. If you can, snap some pics of the muzzle for us so we can be aware. I know in the excitement of receiving a new Python at the FFL transfer, one could easily just not see the obvious at the moment, and then be polishing our new baby two days later and then wonder how I missed it.
