Okay this guy has this 6" Python for sale he says in good working order and tight action but has some holster wear just on the cylinder and a spot on the left side, no box . We agreed on a price of $1500 a good deal or not , opinions/thoughts , thank you ( I am to check it out on Friday )

I say OK, assuming it is original and as advertised.

That’s more than a spot of holster wear. I’d like to see clearer pictures of the gun and do a complete function check prior to purchasing. If you’ve never checked a Python action pm me your email address and I’ll send you a cheat sheet on how to check them.
I’d rather be in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth.

Congrats on your Python . I myself would be very happy to own that for fifteen .
Grips MOST likely not original to gun , but I really like them too .

Holster wear wouldn't bother me for a shooter, and at $1500, if action is good, I think it's fair.
