Hey Folks! Just wanted to add a quick post of appreciation. Many of you have helped to answer my questions and take a look at pics over the last couple months as we purchased our first Python. Well, we just picked her up on Christmas Eve, and the quest as well as wait was well worth it...here are a couple pics of our 82 Stainless. Condition from my review is as close to new as it gets...someone babied this snake for the last 37 years for sure!

Have only shot her 3 times so far, but at 10 paces she put two 38s in the same hole and the I pulled one about a half inch to the right...good enough for me!! My wife and I intend to shoot her and enjoy her...as these pistols are intended to be!

I also wanted to share another one of the good guys as far as sellers. I know there's a short list on the forums of reputable folks...but "Bob" aka "DR45" on GunBroker is definitely someone I would recommend if you're in the market. I would say Bob and I exchanged close to 50 emails and spoke on the phone for collectively over an hour. Simply put, he knows his stuff, is awesome to work with, and most importantly...the piece that I received from him met and exceeded our expectations and was exactly as he described and more. Further...and folks that collect a lot will understand this (haha <img src="https://www.coltforum.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.png" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> ), I have never seen someone pack a shipping box the way Bob did...I'm convinced the courier could have played dodge ball with the box and the Python would have been fine...reinforced the walls, and bubble wrap for days! At any rate, was one of the best gun deals I've ever done and would recommend Bob to anyone as an honest seller that is all aces in my book!

Happy New Year folks and thanks again! Attaching a couple pics below of the snake and some of her new friends!

Congrats, nice stainless gun to go with a nice stainless knife. I’ve always wanted a stainless Python but always end up with blue ones.
