On the right side, in front of the serial number that is not a QR code. It is a DOT code.

You may want to blur the code as well as the human readable serial number if you are concerned about privacy....

    ...And congratulations on your "twins"!
I cold not get I-Phone or Google Phone to respond to the DOT code.

The free app "I-nigma Reader" will read these codes, as well as QR and conventional bar codes.

Nice tip on the QR scan---I just checked the BOD of my King Cobra Target that I received for Christmas 12/6/19. Plus nice Pythons!!!

After holding a 1970 6" python and the new 2020 python I can feel the weight difference with the 2020 being heaver. But the 1970 gun feels more front heavy where the 2020 is more balanced.

The rumours about a Python resurgence were all over the map, for years.
Colts did a great job keeping this project secret, & I really like the way they just announced & presented it. It appears that Colts was making these new Pythons in fall 2019.

Colts got it right again making the barrel length 4.2", especially for the export market. Here in the Great White North, the New Python is only offered for pre-order for the princely sum of.......wait for it.......C$2199.00. Before taxes too!
    Are they worth 2.5 S&W 686's?
