Today I had a quick opportunity to shoot a couple of magazines of American Eagle .25 ACP (50 gr. FMJ) ammo thru my circa 1918 Colt Vest Pocket/Pocket Hammerless Model 1908. At the outdoor range the sun was in the wrong position for trying to see the tiny sights inside their channel atop the slide. I got maybe 1 or 2 good sighted shots when a cloud came over. Shooting at 5 yards, off-hand, with a two-handed hold, I was able to at least keep all 12 shots on the paper and both slow and rapid-fire produced no malfunctions. I will definitely shoot this little pistol more at a later date, but I did want to at least see if it would shoot OK and it did!
