    Anyone else reloading recently?

Changed the one of my machines from 44-40 back to 45acp which seemed appropriate for the times. The other is 44 Special. Won't change it at least in the near future. There is a 550 set up in 32-20 that has been getting the most use until recently. And a Square Deal to pick up the slack in 45 Colt. Likely change the SD out to 38 Super or 9mm shortly. And the 44 Special back to 45 Colt eventually. More 45 bullets on the shelf than anything else.

No lack of things to do that's for sure. And I did get a couple hundred 45acp ran. That made me happy

Just trying to get the machines lubed and dusted right now. And literally knock down some of the cob webs in the shop. It's really shameful on my part. Been awhile since I sat long at the reloading bench. 10 minutes in I broke a crucial bolt on one of the 1050s trying to adjust it. Then it was a 50 minute wait to get Dillon CS on the phone today and get the parts on the way. Never seen anything like todays wait @ Dillon. Goes with the times I guess ;(

Nice set up. I'm waiting for a set of 270 Win dies to arrived so I try out some reload recipes for the Husqvarna model 640 I picked up.

What is there to do? Been churning out (and testing) various powders / charges of 32-20, 327 Magnum, 44-40 & 38-40. still have a fair amount of powder but checking various web sites I see lot's of powders unavailable.

I've been working on 45 Colt, 10mm Auto and 50 Beowulf. I just do them one at a time on my old Rock Chucker.

Went to the local Cabela's and saw they were out of powder and primers already. Picked up some Berry's bullets that were still on the shelf but I am pretty well stocked at home.

I got through the last "shortage" and wonder how long this one will be.

    Coz,
    Nice reloading setup!
The Dillon wait times have pretty much been that way for as long as I can remember. Years ago I got through to their CS almost immediately to discuss some SL900 issues. I recall being quite surprised

Loading 357 for a few days, finished my 44s a day back. Will do 38s after the 357s. Loading revolver ammo for the most part.

If you're loading 32-20 on a Dillon with lead bullets you need to use the .32 powder funnel for the wadcutter bullets. Dillon told me there's no difference except one is longer. Not so, slightly large o. d.

Thankfully I've not had a use for a real wad cutter in 32-20. Been loading 32-20 with traditional Winchester shaped lead bullets on a 550 for 20+ years, using Dillon's with the original powder funnel. I use those bullets in both rifle and handguns.
