Welcome
Love that it still has the rare type 2 mag catch lock.
Woah.... Now that's impressive.
I would have guessed 700-900 pistol alone as it sits. I think most that are trying to find these to collect want it minty in the box as they are still pretty commonly found.
From what i can tell Bud's still has them both available.

Looks way more better. Thank you for sharing.
A few years ago i was hunting for a full size 9mm 1911. They are not super easy to come by. This is very cool.
Couldn’t agree more here.
Mike,
Great to chat with you today. Pistol is SPF per our conversation.
Scott, I dug up a photo of mine. 17 numbers away. The right side grip panel is pretty solid but the left has started to stretch. I'm curious as to why some of these break so easily, while others...
Beautiful pistol, PM sent.
@1k it seems like a pretty descent deal to me. It has some blemishes on it, but not bad at all for the price.
Neat to see the original grip panels still in tact. The majority of these that i have come across the grip panels are cracked, gone, or replaced.
Is the box numbered to the pistol by chance? Also do you have the white outer sleeve for the box?
Sent a PM over on the 1911forum. My post count here hasn't peaked yet to enable me to PM you directly. I'm interested.
