    I like the pattern but IMO the execution is less than master level.

    It does have nice contrast and id be pleased if it was on my desk. I like engravers who aren't afraid to go deep. He may not be master level but it is a handsome pattern and interesting work.

    As others have said, the scrolls and layout could be better but it's shows nice relief and coverage. However, the background would look better with punched dot.
