Standard Mfg. SAA- Thoughts, opinions, news?

Standard SAA 2.png Standard SAA 1.png Anyone heard anymore about Standard's rendition of the SAA? If they have indeed bought USFA's tooling, which model, caliber, configuration do you want to see most? I hope they offer the .44 WCF and .44 Special in all barrel lengths(Storekeepers model and Buntline included), in color case hardened/blue and nickel finishes in black powder frame with bullseye ejector buttons and one piece walnut grips.

"He raised quickly his pistol--a self-cocker-- within a foot of my breast. Retreating rapidly across the room, he cried, "Quien es? Quien es?" All this occurred more rapidly than it takes to tell it. As quick as possible I drew my revolver and fired, threw my body to one side, and fired again. The second shot was useless. The Kid fell dead at the first one." ~ Pat Garrett 1882

I saw a video on Youtube, which was posted on the 16th of January 2017, and they covered the SAA and it was said it would come out in about 6 months from there, meaning this month? Would be interesting.

In the intro of the video there are a couple of frames of the gun being shot.

I enjoy 41 LC a lot, but I doubt they would provide the non-standard calibers.
Maybe 38-40, that's my second choice.

Handled them at the NRA show and was heartily impressed. Reminded me very much of the late USFA guns. I'd like to see the .38WCF and the flat-tops.

If they are anything like the late USFA guns, count me in!

I hope the quality holds when they go into standard production.

I need to get my hands on a SAA (frist one). Always want one, but so hard to find a Colt at reasonable price. Wish Colt get this production out soon. Otherwise, I will have to look at Uberti.

If they are as good as the 100% American made USFA's I'd want .44-40, 4 3/4" old model in nickel, .32-20, 4 3/4" crosspin frame in blue/CCH, .45 Colt Sherriff's model, flattops and Bisley's. These are the same guns I would want to buy as Colt's or USFA's.
