A P1650 showed up NIB at my local gun shop on May 9 of 2017 and the serial number is S75522A This link is how I found it. By the time I got there someone else had said they would take it. I asked them to call me if he did not pick it up. They called me a week later and I got it for MSRP.

I own a colt saa in .45 colt. It`s # SA 47021. Makes it made in 1981? I bought it used/new in 1989. Had the solid bushing. The cylinder charge holes were bored sloppy large and fired cases were bulged and had to be hammered out. I sent it back to colt with the request for a cylinder with the removable bushing. They sent me back the gun with a new cylinder with the removable bushing numbered to the gun along with the old cylinder with the same numbers. They didn't charge me a dime and I believe the shipping was free!

The .45 colt I referred to in my post above is the one with the walnut grips. The other is a .44 special I bought new about 1984.

I have serial numbers SA73519, SA73520, and SA73521. The information presented here would make me think they are 1988, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have information on these numbers.

I'm not having the Colt serial number lookup website to work on any number I've put in lately.

I'm looking at S86256A. Probably a very new one. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

I can't say for sure, but I just reserved a 4.75" that my store just received this week that's several hundred numbers after that one. I'd say either late 2018 or 2019.

I have 4 3/4" FSS SA67495 made in 1984, box is marked as 1 of 25, it has the BP frame and Ivory grips w/ medallions. As a companion piece I have 4 3/4" FSS S47953A made in 2007, both are blue and case and aside from the earlier FSS being rolled and the later FSS being etched panel and rubber grips are near identical.
Snidely, I also have a 45 4 3/4" 84914SA made in 1977, weird thing is though, it has a cross pin frame but came to me unfired with a case hardened hammer and the donut ejector rod head, no mention of either on the box or anything out of the ordinary. I always chalked it up to being early third gen production and using up leftover parts from the Centennial run.
