    After thinking abut my post... think I have changed my mind. If I made in back into a .45, I would end up with a cylinder that did not have the (if any) proper assembly numbers, and the barrel would not be original. Who knows want the blue would look like. All I would have accomplished is making it match a letter. I don’t see where it would be worth any more than making it a .38 special that didn’t match the letter. Both would be shooters, not collectors, and one would just have a Colt letter. What do you guys think?
