Fake - boxes of that era were made with a high-sulfer-content paper that disintegrated over time - this one looks good, but it's too 'crisp'.

When terms like "We believe" or "May be reblued" are used you can usually bet they know it's fake or a reblue.

The "We believe" or "May be" are the weasel words that protect them from problems of selling fakes and phonies.

I say it's real especially when compared to the Tennessee boxes. Ive got plenty of books as well as other printed materials made during that time period that look just fine.

So someone took the gun out of the box to use and they thought, hey we better keep this cardboard box in perfect condition in case we want to put the gun back in it. Yep, I'm buying that one of kind box.
