    Here is a Colt SAA 45Colt made in 1900. Looks overall about the same condition as the 38WCF mentioned earlier. Differences are, non-matching grips, and hammer sear does not need repaired. Yet the starting bid is $2, 249.99.

    That isn't a 'starting bid' by an actual bidder - that's the initial price - there are no bids at this time.

    You can ask whatever you want - it's up to an interested buyer to decide what's fair.

    I guess I was misled by the words "starting bid" over the $2,249.99.

    I'll watch and see if it gets a bid.
