    2nd gen saa's

    Are they all 5 1/2 inches? I don't remember seeing a 4 3/4 for sale.

The 4 3/4" barreled 2nd Generation SAAs were chambered in ,38 Special, .357 Magnum and .45 Colt. I do not think the ,44 Special was ever cataloged with 4 3/4" barrel.

thank you. the 4 /3 45 must be a little rarer.I could use one to go with my 1960 factory nickle 5 1/2. Waiting on archive letter.

The 4 3/4" 2'nd Gen SAAs were the least produced barrel lengths, but have always been my favorite.

The 4-3/4" bbl 2nd gen SAA's are the most popular with me and they must be very popular with the rest of the people in this area since I very rarely see one for sale.

I was lucky enough to buy a 4 3/4 45 2nd gen from a forum member that was in better condition than I was expecting. They are my favorite barrel length also.
