They are 88 models
I have serial numbers SA73519, SA73520, and SA73521. The information presented I found on this forum would make me think they are 1988, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have information on these numbers. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. On the Colt site the SA73519 shows 1988, the SA73520 1987, and the SA73521 1987. Can this be correct?

Also, you can call Colt customer service at 1800-963-2658 M-F 9am-5pm and they will tell you the manufacture year(s) for free when you provide those serials. The chart is pretty reliable, but things can be out of sequence.. not so much back in 1988, but certainly in the late 2000’s. There are sort of two different frame serial sequences running at the same time.. so easy enough to call and check. You have to purchase a Colt letter through the archives dept to obtain other factory information pertaining to original configuration and shipping destination.

If you’d like to edit your thread/post title, ( very common mistake that we convert our SAA revolvers to a retirement question (SSA) ..
Click on edit post and then scroll up to the title box and change it if you like.

Thanks, I was a little confused with the SSA reference. I'll give the Colt customer service a call tomorrow. I inherited these revolvers along with two others and want to learn as much as possible about them. The other two are from the custom shop. I eventually want to sell to a collector or enthusiast as no one in my family has any interest. They should be enjoyed.
You may know this but if not, it’s good to know that SAA prices are, in my opinion, at an all time high judging from the 15 previous years that I’ve been into it. Custom shop guns bring a premium when they’ve got options that were factory custom shop installed. Sometimes a box label as such can prove an option, but if not, that’s when a Colt letter proving custom shop options factory installed can be worth its cost.
If you have time and know how to post photos... we are like moths to the light for Colt pics.
I will take pics and load in a different thread. I'm not familiar with how to post pics, but should be able to learn. Thank you for all you help.
