The cylinders on the blue and cc revolvers are unfluted...Interesting barrel lengths
Nice guns all! May I ask if there are any inscriptions on the right sides of the barrels of the nickel pair or on the right sides of the frames? Also, are the stocks fitted as one-piece (no screw visible) or as two-piece with "blind" screw (screw head visible on right side)?
The blue trio are very unusual with two non-standard barrel lengths. Four and six inch barreled SAAs are pretty scarce. The same question pertains to the checkered stocks. Is there a screw head visible on the right side?
There are no inscriptions on the right side. There is a screw head visible. The 4 inch is measured at 4.75 from front of cylinder to end of barrel.
An internet search has turned up this information on the 44-40 set. Looks like they were made in a special run limited edition sets and individual guns.
