    Is your office a mess?

I admit it, sometimes my office gets over whelmed. Last few weeks I took in 6 new to me SAA and have 5 more coming. It is getting crowded on my office hutch!

I liked it better when I had a few select guns out to handle and admire

Now it is just messy . Ya, no question it is a 3rd World problem. But I could get use to the look I think. I just need to start cleaning the place up and ditch the N frames I guess

I think you are correct Sir. Please send all your "orphan" N frames to Deacon's Home for Lonely Revolvers"

Yep I actually pulled a couple of 1911s off prior to the photo. Hate seeing a pair of orphans suffer Deacon. I best send them out for you to take better care of

The guns are very impressive but the fossil is just as cool. I'm just a PM away if you need to clean it off your "office" desk.

Fossil? Glad you like it. Brought it back from China. Now that would likely send me to prison for life

Good test question for you guys. People say you can't "see" the difference between the size of a Colt and a USFA (Uberti) sized gun. I beg to differ. There 8 Colts in that photo. 5 USFA. Who can identify either? If you think the USFAs look bigger it is because they are!

That looks like a problem several of us would like to have.

The ratio of single actions to double actions appears about right to me.

Some will see this, some won't. And likely think it is just an optical illusion. Having both and having favorites I have no doubt I can feel the differene between like guns with different frame sizes. But I wasn't convinced I could see the difference until I took these photos yesterday and looked at them again enlarged. I might not be able to tell one gun from the next alone, but sit them side by side and the larger frame guns do indeed look larger to me. USFA guns circled in red. "See" what you think. Dbl click the photo to enlarge it.

Colt's and USFA side by side in red
