SAA engraved by John Warren circa 1968.

I recently acquired this pistol which was engraved by John Warren who was my uncle. I always wanted an example of his artistry and finally could afford one. The pistol is completely engraved and has gold inlay as well. The letters or perhaps initials MP are prominently inlaid on the grips frame right behind the hammer. I have tried to find out what they stand for. Maybe someone here would know about this pistol and what the letters mean. Any help is appreciated.
