SAA grips made from walrus tooth

We have several threads with SAA grips from elephant ivory, does anybody have a SAA with grips made of walrus tooth? Is walrus tooth a material used for grips?

I once had some SAA grips made fro a hippo tooth. I suspect SAA grips have probably been made from just about every material known to mankind.

First I need to find a good tooth, I asked here because a friend of mine bought a tooth weighing more then 2 pounds and he asked me about these grips.
Since I love ivory grips, I think I need to get me some walrus grips

I recently fitted some Sambar Stag grips to my SAA...

bought them from a good friend here on this forum for $200...( )

Looking at Giraffe Bone now...for a Uberti Remington 1875 I'll be picking up after Labor Day.
