Looks like a NF to me.

It looks good. Someone's expensive private project. The grip frame looks to be from a 1860 Army, or a replica of one.

It looks like a New Frontier modified to be a Flattop Target and it has 1860 Army type grips.

The sights are very much like the Bisley target models.

If you go to the cabelas site it’s double listed as a New Frontier and a Frontier six shooter. I believe it’s the later with a different grip frame and flat top sights added maybe? Doesn’t explain the serial number though.....

I stand corrected. They have a 44-40 fss and a .45. Serial number one number apart. Weird. Surely somebody knows something about these beauties.
