    Question Thoughts on potential purchase

Been looking for awhile for a later 3rd Generation post 35000 pre 80000, 7.5” BCH. Emphasis being on case colors. Opinions on this example that is available locally to me here in CA. No bargain but certainly in line with current prices. ( Pre 80000 is trying to avoid the latest style laser engraved serial number). Pete

I was doing the same thing. I wanted one with case colors that I liked. I found one that I thought really popped, it had a lot of blue and reminded me of fire painted on a 60's hotrod. I also wanted one that had Single action Army not just SAA. While searching I found the black powder frame NOS. BP frame won out. I can't wait to pick up up later this week.
I think you found a nice one. Congrats.

Beautiful gun - almost too beautiful to shoot. Almost. Go get it, put up more pics and all that! Heck, I'm surprised you can even still buy one in Cali since it doesn't have a thumb safety, grip safety, keyhole lock plug somethingorother drilled into it, a bike chain and thumb print recognition hardware installed.

Color casehardening on the left has too much yellow. I'd want a better match side to side. .Seems like a lot of the recent SAAs look this way.
