    I recommend you ask for pictures not shown on the website I sent you, or with one that has a current newspaper with it. This screams scam to me, especially if you had a WTB posted somewhere. I can't see the seller going from $2650 to less than a grand in two weeks.
    Edit: Or contact the seller though the website I sent and see if you get the same deal.

    Agreed -- I've done exactly the latter, and am much more suspicious now.

    Well, it looks like an honest gun even if the "seller" isn't. I love seeing un-buggered (is that a word) screws, that says a lot about the gun.

    Check out twaits post, "subtle changes in the colt single action army" on page 1 of this forum. If the gun is period correct, buy it asap. It should be going for 3x's that price.
