Bump.
Hi Folks,
I'm in the market for a New Service in either .45, .44-40 or .38-40, though depending on the example, I could be persuaded by a .38 special. I would prefer an example with a 5 1/2 barrel, but I will consider any clean, serviceable option with a barrel between 4 and 7 1/2 inches. I am not looking for a lettered safe queen mind you, but a shooter. A good bore is a must and good lock-up. I do not need a perfect example, but a good one. I saw a few reasonably priced examples here a few months ago and should have jumped at them.
Regards,
-Sam
I have a Colt 1909 Army that I can sell for $1050.00 if that interests you. It is chambered in .45 Colt and has the 5 1/2" barrel. I can send pictures if interested.
Colt New Service, circa 1928, 7 1/2 inch barrel with shiny bore, 38-40, good mechanical condition. $860 shipped, insurance paid by buyer.DSCF5904.jpgDSCF5903.jpg
