SOLD***SAA Buntline 45 Colt, original box, SALE PENDING

I've decided to put it up for sale. I figured I would give the Forum first shot before I go to gun broker. $2500 plus shipping.

I have a 1957 Buntline that was originally carried by a Colt salesman. I have Colt letters to this effect and a letter from the salesman himself! It is a piece that deserves to be on display somewhere, not in my safe. I also have a beautiful oak box.

I found the original cardboard box. Please scroll down.

Here's the documentation. It traces from the salesman to my father, James.

I'm a little confused with the factory letters. One say Blue finish the other say's Blue (case harnened) finish. Has the colt been re-finished?

To my knowledge, it has not been refinished. I'll take some close ups tonight and post them.

Did some more digging and found the original wood grain cardboard box for it!

Gun and related materials received. Thanks for the very secure packaging of everything and the prompt shipment.
Finish is definitely original. Perfect deal.
    Thanks,
