The widow of a friend of ours asked if I would help her sell her deceased husbands guns. One of them is a nice late Springfield Trapdoor in 45/70. I am not really up on these guns but they sure would look good with your early Colt SAA. Saw where some of you were interested in these guns so I thought I would offer this one here before I put it on Gunbroker. Price is $650.00 plus shipping/insurance in lower 48. I will require a copy of your driver license and a statement that you can legally purchase this rifle. Shipment via carrier of your choice. First I'll take it followed by a PM gets the rifle.
(see reply for more photos).

What is the bore like?
Real cowboys don't line dance, a Buckaroo won't even watch.
The bore is very nice and clean but there are a few small pits. I tried several times to take photos of the bore and never could get a decent one.
I'll take it.
I don't know much but at least I know that much.
Trapdoor is sold.
*Smith Carbine sold* Also in the batch of black powder guns is a nice Smith Carbine. If anyone is interested it's for sale at $1595.00 plus shipping. I can provide more photos if interested.
Good bore, all mechanics work perfectly. Front sight has been removed. Have original base without blade also have replacement base/blade combo which I did not install in case someone wanted to use original base and find an original replacement blade. Tumbler shaft has been replaced. Located central VA

I am adding a nice 1858 Remington percussion revolver by Navy arms. It does not appear to have been fired very much. Included is a replica flap holster for the revolver. Price is $275 plus $18 for shipping via FEDEX. Questions answered as best I can and additional photos if needed.
