Hello All,I am selling off two of my "shooter grade" 1st generation Colts:1) 1902 Colt SAA, 5.5" barrel, .45 Colt, Colt grips are not original to the gun, and chipped on right side. The revolver has 4 strong clicks in the action. The bolt rises a little early; lock up is positive though there is a wee bit of end shake and rotational play (no more than a modern revolver). The bore has strong lands and grooves, but scattered black powder pitting. Patent dates and barrel legend are strong, screws are a bit buggered. Just an honest, well-used Colt with little original finish, that you won't mind shooting when you want to break out "the real thing." No Colt letter.2) 1911 Colt SAA, 4.75" barrel with, .45 Colt, legible but fading 2-line barrel address. A little bit of bluing remains in protected areas, as do a few muted case colors in the hollows. Chambers are bright and shiny, bore shows a few scattered black powder pits. Lock up is VERY tight, action VERY positive, feels like a brand new gun. Replacement walnut grips fit well and have beautiful figure. No Colt letter.Colt #1 is $1750, Colt #2 is $2200. Shipping is $35 per gun to your 01 or 03 FFL. Please email me at [email protected] rather than private messaging through the forum for any questions. Thanks!Peter T aka "brewer"
