SPF Original WW2 1944/45 Remington Rand 1911A1 with extra hsp barrel

    SPF

Need to sell my late 1944/ early 1945 Remington Rand 1911A1 unfortunately.
All original. Has an awesome, war-worn patina. No pitting or corrosion, just good, original wear to the original parkerized finish.
The gun has all its original parts. It does have a "Colt 45" marked barrel in it right now that came with it, that was probably added post-war.

But I am also including a period correct, original HSP barrel. Both barrels have mint, clean bores.
I shot this gun once. It's the best shooting, most accurate 1911 I have ever shot.

    Serial: 20659XX

I can add more photos if you want.

I need $1,500 $1,430. I will pay for shipping from my FFL. That includes the gun, extra barrel, and an unmarked magazine that I got with it. (not period).

I'd be interested in a partial trade for a Used Colt WWII Reproduction 1911A1

A few sites I have checked put the serial at 1944.
I'm not an expert on the serials though. Why do you think it's 1945?

Here are a couple of the sites I referenced that puts it in 44:

I just saw that. However, for the range for 1944 it says "1890504-2075103" for remington rand, which mine falls into, and the range for 1945 is "2134404-2244803".
So I'm confused...how do I know which one it is?

that range says from '44' to'45' in Clawsons book which means after 2075103 was in the '45' year and then it continued until end of production(last serial # is 2465139)in '45'
it could be said it is '44' made or it could be '45' year made. you can't pinpoint exactly what/the year as it was so close to end of 1944 and so close to beginning of 1945.
that is my 2 cents worth

    Clawson: 1944-1945 1890504-2075103 Rem. Rand (1945: ±2031600-2075103)

    Meadows: January 1945 2031556-2075103

Meadows serial numbers were taken from production records as no shipping records exist for Remington Rand.
