    I like switching out cylinders on my 38-40s and 41 Colts. Gives me lots of options. I am now wondering if the barrel dimensions for 44-40 and 44 Colt are also the same. I have some extra 41 Colt 1st Gen cylinders that I am hoping can be converted to 44 Colt. Maybe 44 Russian is another option ;)...

    We've had this Colt New Frontier 44-40 now for 4 generations. I've never seen another New Frontier with a Round Stock. I wonder how many were made? This one has 35/500 stamped into the Heel. Is that #35 of 500?
