Hello,
I am new to this forum, but jumping right in looking for some help. A close family relative owns both a 1913 and a 1919 Police Positives. The 1919 is engraved with pearl grips and has been fired but is in excellent condition with the original box with a copy of the original receipt. The 1913 is NIB with one casing in the box with it and looks new. Now here the kicker, both guns have a letter from Colt Historian Kathleen Hoyt certifying that they were both originally shipped from The Colt factory to Col. William C Skinner, who was President of Colt when he received the 1913. The owner is looking to sell and has asked my help in finding values for them.

I will let you know, right now just trying to get a feel for what they are worth, considering the original owner was the president of Colt!
