I've been on the lookout for a "prohibition era" Govt Model, this caught my eye, it sold for a whole lot more than me or RIA estimated:

I was drooling over this one as well....
looks like a bidding war broke out
It’s a shame the grip screws are that boogered up. My grip screws have never been turned backwards since leaving the factory. But my original numbered to the gun box isn’t as nice though.

I’ve been looking for 10 years are better. I’ve never found one. That’s worth a dang there just not out there. I have a 26, 28,29 and 30 never could find a 27.

A hundred year old Colt, pristine, in the box, not messed around with, if I had cash to burn I would have probably paid that price, how often does a Colt like that come around
