A friend of mine was cleaning out his safe and came across a 1956 Colt Python, 6", blue. According to him, it's all original, been fired very little. I inquired as to box or papers, he said no. He kinda laughed and said he'd forgotten about it till he found it. I'd have to give it a solid 95%. No wear, very light ring, perfect bore, perfect lockup. The blue is dazzeling. Now the real question. What's ballpark on something like this. I know pictures would help, but neither of us are set up for it. I did a search, and prices seem to be all over the board. Remember, it's been shot, has no box or papers.
Thank you for your advice.

Good question and as you say prices are all over. I paid $1800 for a STN one last winter that needed a tuneup. Didn't know that until I got it. I would say an older one like yours would be very desirable.
