1957 Detective Special

Fuzzy, taken with cell phone, traded a Smith model 637 for this 1957 Detective. Could not resist. Young man did not want it because it was not rated for plus P ammo. Oh well, I'll take it!! Gun Firearm Revolver Trigger Starting pistol

Great gun! It looks to be in fine shape. Would be nice to see some more photos. Wish I felt as good as it looks.

I'm a '57 model and I'm still rated for +P ammo. That Colt will handle it too if called upon.

I'd probably save it for nice and keep running the +P in the 1966 vintage Detective Special I frequently carry these days.
