Re-blue NOT!
Only Colt can re-blue their product....no one else...
A serious collector piece, like the Inglis made BHP, don't even shoot it. Savour it!

Leave it the way it is, and ditch the leather. There are better options if you need to holster that badboy.
As for value? well.... I reckon it is worth a helluva lot more than you might think.
Shoot the teats off it.

Doubt that Colt will reblue one, and they threw away the polishing wheels used when that one was made. They polish like everyone else now.
